CEO Greg Thompson speaks to industry leaders at Growth Energy leadership conference
PureField Ingredients CEO Greg Thompson recently highlighted the company’s efforts to capitalize on growth opportunities in the ethanol industry, including its innovative use of starch byproducts to produce low carbon biofuels. He was a featured speaker at the 2020 Growth Energy Executive Leadership Conference in Key Biscayne, Florida in February.
Thompson spoke to a crowd of several hundred ethanol leaders as part of a panel discussion, “An Eye for Innovation,” that focused on what’s driving the industry forward in the years ahead. Other panelists included Jennifer Aurandt-Pilgrim, director of technology at Marquis Energy.
“We live and breathe innovation every day at PureField Ingredients. It’s part of our DNA,” Thompson said. “We have a unique combination of operations at PureField and are constantly working to maximize the value we create. As the ethanol industry looks for innovative ways to differentiate, it’s rewarding to discuss the many options that exist.”
PureField Ingredients, one of America’s most trusted providers of food ingredients, biofuels and animal nutrition, operates two state-of-the-art facilities in Russell, Kansas. Starch byproducts from its wheat protein facility are leveraged to create low-cost, low carbon ethanol.
Growth Energy, the leading biofuel trade association in the country, represents producers and supporters of ethanol who are working to bring consumers better choices at the fuel pump, grow America’s economy, and improve the environment for future generations.
