PureField Ingredients, one of America’s most trusted providers of food ingredients, biofuels and animal nutrition, has announced its new leadership team. Greg Thompson has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Gareth Jones will serve as Chief Financial Officer.
Thompson previously served as CEO of White Energy, which originally owned and operated PureField Ingredients’ manufacturing facilities in Russell, Kansas. When those assets were sold to a private equity investment firm in April 2019 and PureField Ingredients was established, Thompson was the logical choice to retain leadership responsibilities.
Jones brings a wealth of financial expertise to PureField Ingredients. He is an internationally experienced CFO who spent the past 20 years creating value for public and private equity portfolio companies in the United States, Europe and Asia. He previously served as CFO at Performance Fibers and as a controller for United Rentals and Invensys.
“PureField Ingredients has a bright future ahead. I’m excited about the opportunity to led the company as we expand into new markets and pursue strategic opportunities to grow our business,” Thompson said.
