PureField Ingredients, one of America’s most trusted providers of food ingredients, has hired a new manager focused on product development and innovation. The position reflects PureField Ingredients continued investment in expanding its portfolio of food ingredients and enhancing customer relationships.
Dawn Crampton joined PureField Ingredients in January 2021 as a Product Development & Innovation Manager. Her product development and innovation responsibilities include competitive analysis, product positioning, and expanding into new market segments. She will also be focused on engaging directly with customers who value the local sourcing, traceability and sustainability that PureField Ingredients’ products offer.
“Dawn has all the tools to help us create the ultimate customer experience,” said John Keaveney, vice president of food ingredients. “She has a deep technical expertise, a proven track record of formulating new products, and the ability to drive business growth in targeted segments. We’re excited about having her join our team.”
Crampton was previously responsible for product innovation at Flowers Food, one of the nation’s largest producers of packaged bakery foods.
PureField Ingredients recently announced that it is expanding its production of wheat protein by 50 percent. The company, already the largest domestic supplier of wheat protein in the United States, serves leading manufacturers of baked goods, meat alternative products, and pet food.
