Our Food Ingredients Facility processes use highly efficient technology that minimizes our electricity and natural gas consumption. Third-party assessment suggests PureField’s Gluten has ~15-25% lower carbon intensity than industry benchmarks.
Our integrated operations enable responsible production. 100% of the wheat starch slurry generated from our gluten manufacturing process is repurposed into high-value by-products, including ethanol with one of the lowest Carbon Intensity (CI) ratings as awarded by the California Air Resources Board (CARB).
Our operations have been optimized to lower water intensity through plant efficiency improvements, water reuse, and responsible water management practices, achieving a 24% reduction in water intensity over the last 2 years.
