PureField Ingredients announced today that its biofuels facility in Russell, Kansas has gone more 5,000 days — more than 13½ years — without a lost workday incident. Employee safety is a top priority for PureField Ingredients and biofuels manager Mike Ernst is constantly reinforcing that message.
“Our goal is to produce ethanol safety and efficiently,” Ernst said. “We have an exceptional workforce that understands the importance of our safety procedures and adheres to them. I’m proud of our team and hope we can extend this safety milestone for many years to come.”
